Director, Business Development - Healthcare Construction – Greater Toronto Area
Our client is the specialized healthcare construction division of a well-established, vertically integrated design-build organization with a growing presence across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ontario, and we are proud to be leading the search on their behalf for a Director, Business Development.
Reporting to the President, this newly created role, based in Toronto, offers a rare opportunity to become the founding business development leader of the division at a pivotal moment of growth. As investment in healthcare infrastructure, healthcare construction and related capital projects continues to accelerate across Ontario, the Director, Business Development will lead relationship development, strategic partnerships and pipeline growth, building the commercial foundation required to support the division's significant scale-up and long-term success.
The ideal Director, Business Development candidate:
brings progressive experience in business development within construction, architecture, real estate, or other capital project-based environments where trust, expertise and relationships drive outcomes
is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple pursuits at once and has a strong understanding of proposal development and client engagement
is naturally curious, excels in long-cycle relationship-building and thrives in environments where they can take ownership and contribute to broader strategic direction
